Europeans might boycott US food if Bush administration files WTO complaint

(Tuesday, May 6, 2003 -- CropChoice news) -- European consumers might avoid American food products if the bush administration carries through with its threats to file a complaint with the World Trade Organization over the European Union's moratorium on genetically engineered foods, according to a Reuters interview with Tony Van der haegen, a biotech policy expert at the European Commission office in Washington.
