The oil we eat (Thursday, March 4, 2004 -- CropChoice news) -- This week, Michael Olson's Food Chain radio show will examine what would happen if everyone in the world were to eat as we do in America. Some contend that the world would run out of oil in 10 years.
This Saturday at 9AM Pacific, the Food Chain hosts author Richard Manning for a frank conversation about food and fossil fuels.
Topics will include how ancient “wheat-beef” people conquered the world; how the “Green Revolution” brought fossil fuels to the kitchen table; and what might happen if the world adopts America’s agriculture.
