Another weed species shows chemical resistance

(Feb. 7, 2002 – CropChoice news) – Smooth pigweed, which is common in midwestern states, has begun to show resistance to aceto-lactase synthase-inhibitor (ALS-inhibitor) herbicides. In Ohio, eight other weed species, including marestail, have begun to show signs of resistance to chemicals.

Note, Pursuit, Raptor, Lightning and Scepter are ALS inhibitor herbicides.
